Setup breakdown

Chest-supported T-Bar Row without dedicating floor space to a machine

This setup uses rack-mounted and landmine-based components I already have in the garage gym to create a stable loaded row option that feels more like a dedicated T-Bar row station, then breaks down when I am done.

What this solves

The goal is a stable pulling option that supports the torso, keeps the load path consistent, and gives me multiple handle angles without taking up permanent footprint. It is not about replacing every dedicated row machine; it is about getting the training effect I want with the rack, landmine, and attachments already in the space.

Components and their role

01

Fringe Sport Dragonfly Wall/Rack Mount Attachment

Mounted facing forward on the front-right upright of the dumbbell rack at about waist height. This becomes the anchor point that lets the rest of the support structure project forward into the row setup.

02

Get RXd Center Post

Attached perpendicular to the Dragonfly mount so it can sit centered directly in front of the Edge Core Post. This gives the chest-support structure a more useful position relative to the landmine path.

03

Exponent Edge Infinity Arm

Attached perpendicular to the center post and aligned with the Edge Core Post and landmine bar. In this setup, the Infinity Arm acts as the chest-support pad for the T-Bar row.

04

Exponent Edge Core Post + Edge Landmine Bar

The Edge Core Post and landmine bar create the loading arm for the row. This is the part of the system that turns the setup into a loaded T-Bar row instead of just a rack-supported chest pad.

05

Darko Lifting Shorty Bar + Open D Nade Handles

The Shorty Bar and Open D handles attach to the landmine bar sleeve, with the handles connected through swivel shackles. That gives me multiple rowing positions and angles instead of being locked into one fixed grip.

06

Exponent Edge Landmine Jack

Used to lift the landmine bar for easier plate changes and a smoother start position. This makes the setup more practical when loading, unloading, and getting into position.

07

Fringe Sport Savage Bumper Plates

Used for loading the landmine bar. They also make the setup look a little better on camera, which does not hurt when the exercise is being filmed.

Why I like this setup

Copy-ready breakdown

If you want the full setup, this is the short version: I mounted the Fringe Sport Dragonfly facing forward on the front-right upright of my dumbbell rack, attached a Get RXd Center Post perpendicular to it, then attached the Exponent Edge Infinity Arm perpendicular to the center post so it lined up with the Edge Core Post and Edge Landmine Bar. The Infinity Arm acts as the chest support, the landmine bar provides the loaded row path, and the Darko Shorty Bar with Open D Nade handles gives me multiple rowing angles through the swivel shackles. I used the Exponent Edge Landmine Jack to make loading and setup easier, then loaded the bar with Fringe Sport Savage Bumper Plates.
